Ft. Worth Texas recording artist Jedikiah releases his new EP "Die Young" and his Spotify streams raise by 1.1k%.
Jedikiah had other plans as a young teenager growing up in today's society, after the 7th grade he dropped out of school for what he says, "to do hoodlum shit and pursue music." The rapper turned singer was only 12 years old when he produced his first beat, 13 when he recorded his first song and at 15 years old he became "Jedikiah". He juggled through different stage names during his short lived rap career; just to name a few... "Ephors (force), Neeqo (birth name) and he even attempted to spell Dallas backwards" we'll let you figure that one out on your own.
The singer finally discovered an ear for his sound after releasing two to three songs a week as a rap artist; he started method to master his vocal abilities by practicing everyday. Jedikiah self taught himself to play instruments like the keyboard and guitar; all while learning how to produce and properly mix and master his music for a more professional quality.
Jedikiah now 17 years old is leading his own record label that features himself and three other artists signed to the label or as he referred to as "an independent music group" during our most recent Varsity BPM "Off The Bench" interview. The young CEO put his faith into TJay (brother), KC and Wuhnted; both close friends after hearing them come over to record music.
We were granted exclusive access to his private home studio in Ft. Worth, Texas where he broke down the step by step process of the making of his most personal songs on his newly released EP "Die Young"; which is also the title of the song.
